As fun as it is to design a completely custom piece, I understand that it can be overwhelming at times. Lucky for you, I’m here to help. I can be as involved in the design process as you’d like – just send over your ideas and let me know where I need to step in :)

Custom Gems

Start With a Vision:

• Fill out the Custom Gems Order Form.

• Share your stone/color preferences, budget, and design ideas.

• Send me the form via DM or email to initiate the process.

Select Your Rough Gem:

• Choose a gem color or type you’d like (list of available types at the bottom of this page).

• Receive photos of rough gems that match your specifications.

• Choose the gem that speaks to you.

Design Your Gem:

• Discuss patterns and shapes for the chosen stone.

• Personalize the faceting style to suit your taste.

Deposit and Payment:

• I use the lowest estimated weight of the final stone to determine the price.

• Invoices will be sent as a listing on my website.

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the stone and start the faceting process.

• The remaining balance is due after the gemstone is cut.

• If you’d prefer to pay 100% up front, that works too!

Final Steps:

• Current processing time is 2-3 weeks.

• Once your gem has been faceted, I’ll send over pictures of the final product.

• If you'd like, we can explore options for setting it in custom jewelry (detailed in the next section).

Custom Jewelry

Start With a Vision:

• Fill out the Custom Jewelry Order Form.

• Share your stone preference, budget, and preferred jewelry type (necklace, ring, bracelet, earrings).

• Choose from solid sterling silver, 14k yellow/white/rose gold, or 18k yellow/white/rose gold.

Design Your Piece:

• Choose your gem(s) from the photos of options I send over.

• Catalog Custom Orders:

• Explore a variety of pre-made settings in sterling silver and 14k gold for standard-sized gems.

• After selecting your stone, receive options from our catalog that perfectly fit it.

• This design process typically ranges from 2-4 weeks.

• CAD Custom Orders:

• This is a good option for completely customized orders and unique requests like multiple stones, irregular shapes, resizing, or metal changes.

• Share any ideas you have, and I’ll create a 3D CAD design with the setting company I work with.

• Review and tweak the CAD design, then receive a final price.

• Expect an additional cost for custom design work and a creation timeline of 2+ months.

Final Steps:

• Full payment is required before setting the stone to secure your custom piece.

• Invoices will be sent as a listing on my website.

• Once your piece has been crafted, I’ll send over some pictures of the final product and ship it to you ASAP!

Shipping Insurance:

• All orders are shipped with a minimum of $100 of coverage.
